Fiction Adaption Unit: STALKER LOGO

Here is a quick logo I created using Photoshop for the Facebook page I am using to promote my new short film 'STALKER'
I have been talking to the poet who wrote the poem I am adapting and he has given me permission to to screen the finished film at some film festivals.

1st Making Of Video Punchlines

Myself and the rest of the the Punchlines team went to the Walnut Tree Pub for the Comedy night. Pepe and I set up my camera equipment in the pub and he used Sam Wilders camera to get secondary shots. We used my camera for the audio and the main shots and peeps camera for secondary shots. The night was very successful and the comic was very funny. When we got back pepe and I started editing the first making of episode.
During the edit we didnt come across any problems only when we tried to export it. It would continue to flash green however we quickly solved this issue by exporting it with quick time converter.

Music Video

we had to create a music video with either archive footage or footage we had shot before. I used a song called 'Meant To Be' by my old band This Year's Confesstion.
For the video I used live footage from a gig we played and footage from my short film 'Seven Minutes' to create the story for the video. I didnt have any trouble creating the music video except for the mac playing up and not replaying smoothly as I edited the video.

Fiction Adaptation Unit: 1984 location photos

After reading the chapter of 1984 I got the picture that it was set in todays day and age and would be in a town that was quite old fashioned and like the slums, where the "Big Brother" have the technology and keep everyone trapped in a sort of "prison" area where they are always being watched. I made the photos black and white to make it seem lifeless and that the quality of live was not good.

Fiction Adaptation unit: STALKER

I have contacted and been talking to Darun the author of the poem I am adapting for the fiction unit. He has very kindly given me full permission to create the short film based on his poem. I have finished the first draft of the scrip and also sent that too Darun who had this to say about it. "I think you kept it quite close to how I intended the write, believe it or not. Actually, you might have caught my intent at the end as well, because you pretty much nailed the idea of my continuation of the series."
I have also cast my actors for the film. I will be working once again with Adam Blake who played the Reaper in my film "Seven Minutes" and his Fiancee Anna Sambrooks who was in my Park Story Episode. 
Adam will be playing the stalker and Anna will be playing the girl. 
I am hoping to shoot the film in mid - late April.

Studio Production Unit: start of the making of video

So last night Myself, Pepe, Sam, Ashley, Zarah and Ashley all went on a scouting trip to The Walnut Tree to watch their comedy night. Pepe and I brought our cameras and we filmed parts of the performance as well as reaction shots of our crew watching him. We also got interviews of what the HOD wanted to get from the scouting night and what their plans are to do next. We are going to begin editing the first making of episode on Monday and it should hopefully be released on youtube a couple of days later.
It was a very funny and eventful night and I and the rest of the crew really enjoyed it!

Studio Production Unit: Job role

When the job roles were given out I was away in France working on a documentary for the uni and so I massed getting told what job I had got for the studio production. I was quickly told by lizzie over the internet that I had gotten into the promo team with Pepe and that I was the chief camera op for the other production as well.
I was extremely happy with these jobs that I was given, they were exactly what I wanted to do for the studio production unit.
Quickly after I got back from France myself and Pepe started coming up with logo ideas for the show (logo is bellow)

We are now thinking off what we could do for the trailer and we are having regular production meetings.
Tonight we are starting the making off episodes and we will be attending a comedy night in Maidstone with Sam, Ashley and Zarah while they do some talent scouting for the show.
